Our offices offer PRP Therapy for medical applications, such as treating conditions like osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal injuries, and more. PRP therapy is a process that uses your own body’s plasma to repair an injury. A sample of your blood is drawn, then placed in a centrifuge to isolate the blood platelets from the rest of the blood’s components. This creates a platelet-rich solution, which is then injected back into the area in need of repair. This process creates a stronger concentration of the blood’s naturally occurring growth factors which then is used to encourage the body to heal itself.
